Your Brain in Love, Lust, and Breakup Mode

I love the philosophy of love and sex. Love and sex is what makes the world go round,( I think), so reflecting and theorizing about it is something I truly adore. And I mean intellectually reflecting and theorizing about it!!!! It is also something that the world is extremely scared of talking about, engaging in, and providing freedoms to do that makes it all the more attractive to me. Im a rebel in case you didnt know.

Above is a great video about what happens in our brains when we become attracted, fall in love, and also when we break up with someone. It’s great scientific stuff to know in addition to the philosophical contemplation done by philosophers like Irving Singer and Alan Soble on what is love, what makes something sexual, is sexuality something that comes out of gender or biology, or is any sexual act “unnatural”? Aww, the great stuff!!!! If you are interested in the unnatural history of sex, the SBS has a series that you can watch online. Its pretty awesome and informative.
